Our excellent post-rehabilitation strength training and physical conditioning can be targeted at just about any area of need.
MECA offers post-rehabilitation training from both acute and chronic injuries for both athletes and non-athletes alike. Many of our current clients are referrals from Doctors, Physical Therapists, and Chiropractors who have sent us their patients for post-rehabilitation exercise to help strengthen areas such as the low back, knees, and shoulder after injury.
We work hand in hand with many of these health and wellness professionals to help our clients return to play in their sport or get back to a point where they can resume everyday activities with more strength and less pain.
We promise to deliver the best training available where you enjoy the quickest results. Your one-on-one training with a personal coach, who constantly evaluates your progress and adjusts your training, will deliver the best results possible while also minimizing your risks for further injury.

GET MORE INFORMATION
Post Rehab Personal Training ensures that you:
- Reduce the likelihood of injury so you don’t get injured again.
- If you were injured before, many times there was a structural issue that put you at risk – if this is never address properly – the chance of another injury is just as high.
- You want to return to the quality of life and athletic performance you had before the injury.
- Once you have gotten injured, you really need customized training that is going to target your weak areas of your body – a general program is not going to be adequate to address your unique challenges and what you need to do to progress.

Hear What Some of Our Clients Have To Say
Jessica Barber
“I started training at MECA to address back pain that prevented me from squatting and being as active as I wanted to be. My time flew by and I am thrilled to be able to say that my back pain is gone, I am squatting at my pre-injury weight, and in many other ways, I am even stronger than before! I thoroughly enjoyed working with Liz throughout my recovery; she continued to keep the program challenging and was able to adjust to meet what I was capable of each session. I also really appreciated that even when Dave is working with a client, he sees everything that happens on the floor; his commitment to helping his clients and trainers grow and perform every move safely is evident. My experience with MECA far exceeded all of my expectations and I would recommend them to anyone.”
Zach Zenner – Detroit Lions #34
“Coming off a back injury I went to MECA looking to get back into football shape. We accomplished that goal and more through a unique style of 1 on 1 training I had never experienced. After training at MECA my improved body composition and overall fitness level allowed me to successfully return to the Lions roster.”
Here is a quote from Detroit Lions Running Back Zach Zenner:
“I broke my back and thought that the possibility of my career was over. After training at MECA, not only did I come back stronger, but I arguably had my best season ever in the NFL and was signed to a record contract.”

Letter from the Desk of David Lawrence:
Strength Coach (founder of MECA)
I completely understand what it is to go through an injury and have it take away something you love.
My last 3 years of college football at Central Michigan University “Fire Up Chips” I struggled with broken bones, torn muscles, and chronic tendonitis that limited my physical ability and ultimately ended my athletic career.
I started MECA, because I didn’t have the help or the guidance necessary to 1st avoid those injuries and 2nd to come back properly so I wouldn’t continue to get injured.
The reason we do 1 on 1 training at MECA is because we can perfectly identify what’s going on with your body, why you have gotten injured, and most importantly, figure out how to reduce the likelihood of you getting injured again. The one-on-one training is the difference maker.

Step 1 – Measure
This starts with your 2 session JumpStart Fitness Assessment where you will go through a series of test that allows us to find your starting point; what’s holding you back and limiting your potential. We find out exactly how to improve your speed and identifying risks of injury. This is huge!
Step 2 – Engineer
We design a customized training plan based off the initial assessment that progresses with you. The key to getting world class results is individualizing the training process. Here you will meet with your nutritionist who will customize a specific eating plan for you, as well as set up your lifestyle schedule for optimal sleep, meal timing, and specific hydration habits to optimize progress.
Step 3 – Condition
One on One personal training where you work out 3-4x a week with your strength coach, who will be with you every step of the way. Every session is monitored and recorded, so we know exactly where you are at and when you’ll be ready to progress to the next phase of your training based on your goals and your timeline.
Step 4 – Achieve
This is what we work for! For you to crush your goals, feel confident, and walk away with results that are lasting. Like almost everything, fitness and health is a skill that most of us haven’t been taught. In this process, we teach you the habits and give you the accountability for you to be successful not only once, but for the rest of your life. This is real professional training that produces the best results anywhere for you……our passion is your success!
